Talon Petroleum aims to grasp more North Sea licenses

Australia's Talon Petroleum has announced plans to boost its acreage in the UK North Sea.
The operator has submitted applications for areas covering 12 exploration prospects as part of the Oil and Gas Authority's 32 nd licensing round, which closed earlier this week.
Talon said the awards would strengthen its “core focus area” in the Central North Sea.
The new licenses would add “significant prospective resources”, the firm added.
Talon kicked off its mini-spree of North Sea assets in October 2018 with the acquisition from Corallian Energy of a 10% stake in the 45-million barrel Curlew-A...
