Chancellor Rishi Sunak is set to unveil a £2bn scheme aimed at helping unemployed young people.
He will give his summer economic update in the House of Commons tomorrow, including a recovery package from coronavirus .
As part of it, he will be subsidising work placements for young people.
A three-point plan to boost the economy by helping job creation will include a plan to help pay for six-month placements for some young people facing long-term unemployment.
