Joe Root scored a brilliant double century to put England on top against Sri Lanka
Joe Root says it was ‘very pleasing' to lead from the front with a magnificent double century as England edged closer to victory in the first Test against Sri Lanka.
He said: ‘It feels great and good to be in the position we are after losing the toss.
