Two men have been arrested for licking hands and wiping them on meat, fresh produce and fridge handles
Police have arrested two men after they were caught on camera licking their hands in a supermarket and wiping them over meat, fresh produce and fridge handles.
CCTV images show the shoppers contaminating the items at a Sainsbury's store in Morecambe, Lancashire, at about 1.45pm on Saturday.
Staff were forced to disinfect the store while the food had to be destroyed.
Inspector James Martin described the incident as ‘flabbergasting' given the coronavirus crisis.
