Coronavirus UK LIVE: Boris Johnson says gyms can open in weeks as travel quarantine update due today & deaths hit 43,995

BORIS Johnson this morning says he expects that gyms will be able to reopen within a ‘couple of weeks' as lockdown measures ease.
It comes as Brits today find out where they'll be able to go on holiday - without having to worry about a 14-day quarantine upon their return.
At present, British holidaymakers are able to go on holiday to Germany, France, Spain and Italy without needing to quarantine if they return from July 10.
Meanwhile, Education Secretary Gavin Williamson unveiled plans for a full return to schools in September.

Gyms are set to reopen very soon
Boris Johnson has announced gyms should be able to reopen in a ‘couple of weeks'.
Speaking on LBC this morning, the Prime Minister said: ‘We are going to reopen gyms as soon as we can do it in a Covid-secure way and I think that the date for reopening gyms at the moment, if we can do it, is in just a couple of weeks' time.'
He also added he wanted to get theatres open ‘as fast as we possibly can'.
