UK death toll hits 45,053 after another 85 people die

It comes as more parts of the country face the possibility of local lockdowns
Another 85 people have died in the UK after testing positive for coronavirus, bringing the official death toll to 45,053.
Figures from the Department for Health and Social Care cover fatalities in all settings including hospitals, care homes and the wider community. As of 9am this morning, a total of 291,911 people have tested positive for Covid-19 across Britain with 538 new cases announced today.
Earlier today NHS England announced 22 deaths while Scotland reported no fatalities for the seventh day in a row...
