US approves new ketamine nasal spray that can relieve suicidal thoughts

Ketamine-based anti-depressant Spravato, pictured, has just been approved as an effective treatment for suicidal thoughts
US health officials have approved a groundbreaking new nasal spray made with ketamine that can provide relief from suicidal thoughts. The treatment, called Spravato, can soothe a suicidal person's desire to kill themselves within as little as four hours, and has been designed to provide relief within 24 hours.
