The Weeknd has urged record labels to donate money
The Weeknd has urged record labels to publicly donate to Black Lives Matter organisations as they profit off of black artists.
The star, real name Abel Tesfaye, shared logos of several music companies and asked them to help the community, half a day after he donated $500,000 .
‘To my fellow respected industry partners and execs- no one profits off of black music more than the labels and streaming services,' the After Hours singer wrote.
