Wild bison will soon be roaming the British countryside

Bison from the Maasthorst nature reserve in the Netherlands.
For the first time in thousands of years wild bison will roam the British countryside.
A new project is underway to introduce the creatures into a woodland area in an attempt to restore an ancient habitat and its wildlife.
It's part of a £1 million project led by Kent Wildlife Trust and the Wildwood Trust to help manage Blean Woods near Canterbury, Kent.
