THE all-island coronavirus death toll has hit 313 - as sweeping new powers of detention come into force to stop the spread of Covid-19.
25 further coronavirus deaths were confirmed in the Republic , and another 365 cases have been detected.
The Republic case total is now 6,074 and 235 deaths have occurred.
Five more deaths bring the total death toll in Northern Ireland to 78 and the case tally has hit 1,339.
And anyone who has travelled to their holiday home will now have to stay there, the Garda Commissioner warned.
