Volunteer farmers in the UK are working overtime to save millions of tons of produce from going to waste

The coronavirus pandemic and uncertainty around the UK's Brexit deal with the EU have stopped migrant workers from entering the UK, and millions of tons of produce could be left to rot in the fields.
The British government has set up campaigns to recruit unemployed and furloughed workers to help fill the void, and local are stepping up to help.
Farmers say that this year's labor shortage could foreshadow the fate of British farms and food if Brexit makes it harder for foreign workers to come into the country.
