English Premier League football to resume June 17

The English Premier League, the most watched sports league in the world, will restart next month.
Beginning on June 17 with Manchester City vs. Arsenal and Aston Villa vs. Sheffield United, the season will be wrapped up in six weeks with the other 90 games still to be played being held at weekends and at midweek. The schedule and return date were discussed at a meeting of the 20 clubs Thursday, with the BBC reporting that all of the clubs agreed to the restart plan in principle.

Manchester City and Arsenal will get the Premier League back underway
The Premier League is nearing a return, with matches now scheduled to be played in the next three weeks, as English football edges back towards normal.
The coronavirus crisis has wiped out Premier League football since 13 March, but after the Bundesliga in Germany has returned successfully, the English top flight is looking to follow suit.

The Premier League will reportedly resume from June 17 onwards with a timetable for the new schedule put together at the shareholders meeting on Thursday.
As per the Telegraph , games are expected to restart on Wednesday June 17, starting with Aston Villa vs Sheffield Utd and Man City vs Arsenal in the games that were late scratches from March and are the games in hand for the clubs in question.
It's added that another game could be played on June 19, with a full round of fixtures to come on Saturday June 20 with kick-off times staggered across the weekend with most, if not all, expected...
