Chelsea squeaked through into the Champions League knockout phase with a win over Rennes in France, and after the game Frank Lampard was asked for his thoughts on how the team had played.
He admitted they hadn't been at their best, but hoped they were going to take one thing forward with them from this game - the “ruthless” play that saw them win despite now playing well.
“Hopefully we're now seeing a ruthless side to us,” he commented in the press conference after the game.

Callum Hudson-Odoi's crisp finish had the Blues leading 1-0 for the majority of their Group E clash in France, only for Serhou Guirassy to equalise late on for Rennes.
