Greta Thunberg will be in Bristol on Friday.
World-renowned climate activist Greta Thunberg is set to travel overland for a UK school strike on Friday.
She will journey from Sweden to Bristol to join the Youth Strike 4 Climate demonstration, where she is also expected to address the crowds.
Organiser Milly Sibson said excitement was growing and added: ‘I would love the chance to meet her because she is the founder of this movement and she is so important to it - she is an idol even though she is younger than me.
‘We really hope loads of people join us to welcome her to Bristol.'

Teenage activist will make her second UK trip in past year to join next week's event Greta Thunberg will visit the UK next week to take part in a youth protest in Bristol.
