West Brom's manager search: Bruno Labbadia update

West Brom defeated in play-offs
West Brom were relegated from the Premier League at the end of the 2017/18 season, finishing 20 th with 33 points.
Darren Moore took charge of the club towards the end of their tenure in England's top flight and remained in charge with the task of winning promotion in the 2018/19 season.
With top players such as Jay Rodriguez, Dwight Gayle and Kieran Gibbs, Baggies fans may have been seeing promotion as almost inevitable.
However, West Brom would soon find out what a tough league the Championship is.
West Brom would miss out on an automatic promotion spot, finishing 4 th , nine points below 2 nd place Sheffield United.
Darren Moore would also be sacked in early March with James Shan taking charge for the rest of the season.
Shan would also be in the dugout as West Brom lost to Aston Villa in the play-off semi-finals via penalties.
Villa will now face Derby County for the final promotion spot.
