Suspected fire at Leeds hospital as ‘patients and staff evacuated'
Emergency services are at Leeds General Infirmary after a suspected fire.
Patients and staff have been evacuated and there are reports of smoke filling up the corridor, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.
A man who used to work in the building told the paper: ‘I heard that the smoke was filling up the corridors from A and E up to ICU and Theatres .'
Images show a huge emergency service presnence outside the hospital.
Metro.co.uk has contacted the Leeds Hospitals Teaching trust for comment.
