‘We're keen to re-sign Leone Nakarawa' - Dave Rennie

Glasgow Warriors head coach Dave Rennie has confirmed that the PRO14 outfit are interested in re-signing Fiji second-row Leone Nakarawa.
On Friday it was revealed that Racing 92 sacked Nakarawa after he returned late to the Top 14 club following the end of the Rugby World Cup. Before joining the Parisian side, the 31-year-old spent three years in Glasgow from 2013 to 2016 and helped them win the PRO12 in 2015.
And Rennie, who only joined the Warriors in 2017, admitted that his club would be interested in bringing Nakarawa back to Glasgow although he said it was still early days.
“He's a fan favourite, he loved it here, the boys loved him, so if we can make it happen that would be brilliant.” Rennie told the Glasgow Evening Times about Nakarawa's possible return to the Warriors.
“But obviously it's only just become official (that Nakarawa has been sacked from Racing 92). So there'll be a bit of follow-up now.”
