Free tickets available to historic sites across the north and north-east

Historic Environment Scotland is offering free entry to the region's best loved sites this month.
To mark St Andrew's Day, scores of free tickets are up for grabs at more than 30 attractions across Scotland.
In Aberdeenshire, visitors can wander the halls of Duff House at Banff or explore the ruins of Huntly Castle.
In Moray, Elgin Cathedral will be taking part in the fun over November 30 and December 1.
Towards Inverness, the teams at Fort George and Urquhart Castle will be welcoming visitors, while Dunstaffnage Castle at Dunbeg, by Oban, will also throw open its doors for free.
The giveaway allows visitors to learn about Scottish history over St Andrew's Day weekend, and people can visit as many attractions as they wish.
