Heavy flooding has caused major disruption to rail services with trains forced to operate at slow speeds.
Around 100 metres of the track was flooded due to excessive rainfall at the Slochd summit between Aviemore and Carrbridge.
ScotRail services travelling between Inverness and the central belt were forced to terminate at Aviemore for up to two hours this morning.
The line has since reopened but disruption is still expected into the afternoon with trains operating at a 5mph speed limit.
