Whisky lovers gather in Aberdeen's Music Hall for a dram-old-time

Aberdeen's Music Hall played host to the National Whisky Festival as hundreds gathered to sample the best spirits in Scotland.
It's the first time the event has been staged in the Granite City, with up to 30 exhibitors celebrating all things uisge-beatha with tastings, live music and whisky related crafts.
Distillers came from all over Scotland offering more than 100 different whiskies to try including Bruichladdich, Dalmore, Loch Lomond Whiskies and Glenturret to name a few.

“It's a celebration of all things whisky.”
