Majority of AFC Wimbledon fans oppose private investors in new stadium

60% at Dons' Trust meeting against external investment Ex-chairman Kris Stewart: ‘We lose control, day one' A majority of AFC Wimbledon supporters have expressed opposition to diluting the club's landmark supporter-owned structure in return for significant money from private investors towards the new stadium. At a meeting of the supporters' Dons Trust, which has owned the club mutually since its formation in 2002, approximately 60% of attendees indicated that they did not support the idea of raising the money from outside investors as outlined by the chairman, Mark Davis, last month.
