Despite the daily death toll figures, the true number is believed to be above 50,000
The UK death toll has increased to 359 after a further 39,728 people died with coronavirus .
It comes after NHS England confirmed 179 more deaths in hospitals, while Wales recorded 17, Scotland 11 and Northern Ireland eight. The death toll released by the Department of Health and Social Care also includes Covid-19 related deaths in care homes and the wider community.

The prime minister has defended his record on the coronavirus crisis, saying he is ‘very proud' of how the government has responded.
It comes as the true number of deaths in the UK from the virus passed 50,000 people.
During Prime Minister's Questions today Boris Johnson clashed with Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer about his approach to easing the lockdown and reopening England's schools.
Mr Johnson told MPs: ‘I take full responsibility for everything this Government has been doing in tackling coronavirus and I'm very proud of our record.'

The UK's true coronavirus death toll has passed 50,000
The UK has announced another 215 deaths from coronavirus across the four nations.
NHS England today recorded 179 more deaths in hospitals - but this does not take into account other settings like care homes.
Across all settings, Wales announced 17 more deaths, Scotland had 11 and Northern Ireland had eight.
A preliminary daily tally of 215 is calculated by adding up the individual counts announced by each of the home nations.
The latest figures were released after it emerged the UK's true coronavirus death has passed 50,000.

The true UK coronavirus death toll has passed 50,000, more than 10,000 higher than Government figures.
The number of deaths registered in England and Wales with confirmed or suspected Covid-19 reached 44,401 by May 22, according to data from the Office for National Statistics .
But when combined with the latest national figures from Scotland and Northern Ireland, the total has passed 50,000.
The total includes new figures published today by the National Records of Scotland. They show that 3,911 deaths...
