Tailbacks as hungry customers queue at McDonald's drive-through

The long awaited return of McDonald's is finally over as drive-through services opened across the north and north-east today.
Fast-food lovers looking to be the first to nibble on a Big Mac waited outside their nearest restaurant from early morning with the business opening at 11am.
All franchise branches closed to customers across the UK and Ireland on March 23 due to coronavirus concerns.
