Vegans take twice as many sick days as everyone else, report finds

Perhaps carrots should carry cigarette-style health warnings, as it's emerged that vegans actually take more days off sick than everybody else.
People on a ‘plant-based' diet take five days off work a year ill with coughs and colds - compared to an average of 2.5 days.
The survey of 1,000 office workers by lozenge overlords Fisherman's Friend found that vegans are also three times more likely to take a trip to their GP, compared with the average UK adult.
