The Rule of Six will still apply after the curfew
People can leave the pub at 10pm and then go to a friend's house and continue drinking - as long as they are a group of six, Michael Gove earlier confirmed.
Boris Johnson today announced a 10pm curfew for pubs and restaurants across England - with the restrictions expected to be followed by Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Despite warning that socialising has led to a worrying increase in coronavirus cases and could see restrictions in place for the next six months , the Prime Minister has decided to keep the ‘rule of six' in place...
