THE UK's coronavirus Test and Trace app has finally launched today after months of delays.
The contact tracing app has gone live from September 24 across England and Wales in the hope it will reduce the spread of the virus by identifying and containing the bug. Here's how it works, how you can download it to your phone and what to expect.

Covid-19 test and trace app won't work on older iPhones
The NHS has launched its coronavirus Test and Trace app across the UK today after months of delays and technical issues.
But it seems the Covid-19 app doesn't work on older iPhones.
This leaves thousands of Brits across the country unable to download and use the app and help contribute to the efforts to beat Covid.

The new contact tracing app launches today - four months late
Britons will be urged to download the new coronavirus contact tracing app as it launches today following months of delay and questions over its effectiveness.
