You shouldn't be consuming CBD products if you're pregnant , breastfeeding, or taking any medication, the Food Standards Agency has advised. Healthy adults are also urged to “think carefully” before taking CBD, as well as having no more than 70mg a day unless under medical direction. These recommendations form part of the FSA's first ever safety advice to consumers on CBD products. CBD, which is short for cannabidiol, is an extract of the cannabis plant that has taking over the wellness sector.
