Beyoncé shared how her experience with miscarriages taught her about motherhood and self-care in a recent interview with Elle .
The artist also opened up about how being a mother changed her approach to success and purpose.
"Having miscarriages taught me that I had to mother myself before I could be a mother to someone else," Knowles-Carter told the publication.
