ASOS to repay furlough money after sales jump during lockdown

The online fashion retailer enjoyed a boost in European sales
ASOS has vowed to repay the money it claimed from the government's furlough scheme after enjoying a spike in sales during lockdown.
The fashion retailer used £1.8 million to furlough workers during the pandemic but says it has outperformed many of its rivals.
Total sales jumped by 10 per cent over four months to hit £1 billion at the end of June, according to a letter sent to investors on Wednesday.
International sales grew 17 per cent as many parts of Europe eased lockdown sooner, while sales in the UK fell only modestly due...
