Amazon's CEO and founder Jeff Bezos reportedly had his mobile phone hacked back in 2018 after receiving a WhatsApp message sent from the personal account of the crown prince of Saudi Arabia. Following digital forensic analysis, it is believed that the encrypted message sent from Mohammed bin Salman's phone number included a malicious file that was able to infiltrate Bezos' smartphone. A UN report published Wednesday alleges that Bezos was hacked by Mohammed months after they exchanged phone numbers. A 2018 Vanity Fair story places Bezos and Mohammed at the party that night.
