FedEx reportedly threatens to remove signage from the Washington Redskins' home stadium unless the team changes its name

FedEx issued a one-sentence statement on July 2 urging the Washington Redskins to change their name.
The Washington Post reported Friday that the company also sent a letter to the team's general counsel threatening to remove signage if the name isn't changed.
In the past week - fueled by renewed race conversations in the US on a national level - multiple major retailers said they would stop selling the team's merchandise.
