FORMER cabinet minister David Davis has launched an extraordinary attack on the UK's police, accusing them of acting in an "irksome, officious" way in enforcing ongoing lockdown restrictions during the coronavirus pandemic - and even comparing their behaviour to that of the air raid warden Hodges in Dad's Army.
