Refugees let down after £100,000,000 cut from funding for English lessons

Funding for English lessons has been massively cut over the last decade
Funding for English lessons for refugees and other migrants has been slashed by over 60% within the past decade, according to new figures.
Austerity measures mean the most vulnerable people in society are at increased risk of isolation because of government cuts.
In the UK, there are around 800,000 people who are not able to speak English.
Despite Tory rhetoric on supporting everyone across the nation, more than £100 million has been slashed from the Adult Education Budget.
