West Ham and Aston Villa have been named as two of the sides who are keen on signing Ruben Loftus-Cheek on loan.
Goal.com have the story about the midfielder's future, with their Chelsea correspondent Nizaar Kinsella writing that the two Premier League teams are the most keen to get the elegant academy product on loan for the year.
Despite starting the first game of the season against Brighton, Loftus-Cheek was left out of the squad entirely against Barnsley last night, and his future now seems more in question than ever.

Aston Villa are targeting a loan deal for either Ross Barkley or Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
Dean Smith is keen to add another midfielder to his squad before the October 5 transfer deadline, and has identified the Chelsea duo as his prime targets.

But having already spent £85million, Villa are only in the market for a loan deal.
Premier League rules stipulate that only one loan is allowed between the same two Premier League clubs, so if a deal takes place it will be for one or the other.

A recent report from the Telegraph has linked Aston Villa with two of Chelsea's midfielders.
Loftus-Cheek out in the cold
Said midfielders come in the form of Ross Barkley and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, both of whom aren't exactly regular starters at Stamford Bridge.
Loftus-Cheek, for example, managed 61 minutes of action in Chelsea's season opener.
But the midfielder, who came under criticism for said display, has seen been omitted from Chelsea's last two matchday squads - despite the continued absence of Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech.
