: Loftus-Cheek joins Henderson to announce NHS support scheme to fight COVID-19

The Premier League players have announced a new charity scheme that they will all be funding to help support the NHS in the fight against COVID-19.
The initiative was started by Liverpool and England midfielder Jordan Henderson, who contacted the captains of every Premier League club last week and has been in talks with companies and players since.
The players have all happily got involved from every club in the top league in the UK, and a number of them have been marking this by posting the full statement, as Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek has done below...

Premier League players have joined forces to create an initiative which aims to raise funds for NHS charities during the coronavirus pandemic and distribute them “where they are needed most”.
Top-flight stars came under fire after some clubs placed non-playing staff on the Government's furlough scheme, with health secretary Matt Hancock last week calling for Premier League players to take a pay cut.
