Are video games about to get a price hike?
After NBA 2K21 became the first game to increase the price on next gen video games, the prediction is it won't be the last.
It's beginning to seem inevitable that next gen video games will be more expensive than their current gen equivalents, with analyst firm IDG Consulting claiming that NBA 2K21 is not an exception.
In announcing the game's various versions this week, 2K revealed that the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the game would cost £59.99, with the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 versions priced at £64.99.
