Mesut Ozil urged Arsenal supporters to get behind Mikel Arteta after the midfielder completed his move to Turkish giants Fenerbahce.
The German agreed to terminate his contract with the Gunners earlier this week to bring to an end his seven-and-a-half-year stay at the Emirates.
Ozil last played for Arsenal last March and he was left out of this season's Premier League squad by Arteta, who had made it clear he wanted the German's £350,000-a-week wages off the club's books.
