Milton Keynes Festival of Nature 26 June - 7 July

Alongside the Wildlife Trust and the Parks Trust we held the first Nature day in July 2016 in memory of Bernard Frewin who was one of the original founding members of our Society. The day was such success and such fun that we decided to expand the event to become a week long celebration of the wildlife of Milton Keynes. The aim of this week is to educate and inspire local people to become involved in and value their natural environment and as this is one of the constitutional aims of our Society it fits perfectly. There are many events to join in with during the week so do look on the Parks Trust website
Because of Covid the festival is somewhat restricted this year but the Society will still be part of Nature Day on 3rd July at Howe Park Wood. We will have our display boards up and maybe a small hands-off, covid safe, activity alongside, so if anyone in the Society would be prepared to come along on the day and help out that would be great (see booking details below - there is a maximum of 50...
