How tootoot's reporting app is combating bullying in school, work and sports

Based in the North West of England, tootoot started life as the world's first app for children and young people to report a concern such as bullying, racism cyberbullying or a mental health concern.
Cofounder and CEO Michael Brennan was bullied throughout primary and secondary school and as a result of the bullying being so severe he relocated schools from Essex to Northumberland. Reflecting upon the experience, he realised that no app existed for young people to report their bullying-related concerns to their school.
To date tootoot has helped over 500,000 children and young people across 500 schools report via the app over 60,000 issues, directly to their school, college and university.

What problem are you trying to solve?
Tootoot's core mission is to support the psychological safety and wellbeing or individuals in order to make organisations happier and safer places. It provides a way to raise a concern to their organisation confidentially to enable early intervention...
