We may be 12 and 14, and unable to vote, but we are not striking because we want to skip school or to become famous - we are doing this to wake our leaders up (Picture: Finlay Pringle and Holly Gillibrand)
If elections are about the most important issues, then why are we not talking about the ecological emergency currently facing our country?
The world is facing cataclysmic biodiversity loss, but barely anyone is paying attention. Sure, there are a lot of conversations around climate change , but we must secure the future for our wildlife and plants, too.
